Tell me more about the tradeshow |
Answer:
|
Be creative!
Think of ways to IMPRESS your fellow members about you and your company.
Bring the items you would bring if you had a booth in any other tradeshow, but this is better since you will be the only exhibitor! This is a chance for you to really SHOW-OFF and to impress the members! Your Tradeshow goes a long way to getting more business.

What about inviting guests.. who should I invite? |
Answer:
|
A Qualified Guest is someone whose business category is NOT represented in your chapter. You are welcome to bring guests who are interested in joining other chapters, we ask that they pay for their own meal, are respectful of the member whose category is already filled by NOT passing cards or giving a commercial.

What are the attendance rules? |
Answer:
|
To maximize the benefit of membership you will want to attend as many meetings as possible. The best way to do this is to schedule your TNI meeting in your day planner or PDA as a regular client meeting. How else could you go to a meeting with 20-50 clients in a one-hour time frame?
You may miss up to 4 meetings in a calendar quarter, and if you arrive late or leave early you will be counted as absent. Two consecutive unexcused absences and your membership may be in jeopardy. You may have an alternate attend in your place 6 times per year. Your alternate must work for the same company you do.

What if I have a problem with another member? |
Answer:
|
In the case where you believe your referral has not been properly handled, the first person you need to discuss this with is the person to whom you gave that referral. Ask them what happened. If this behavior becomes an ongoing problem or is unresolvable we have an Ethics Committee to investigate poor business practices by members should they occur.

What is the bucket all about? |
Answer:
|
The Reminders dropped in the bucket are a way to hold members accountable for doing the things they should be doing such as wearing their TNI badge and pin, and bringing a guest and referrals to every meeting. The Reminders are deposited in the chapter account so the club can create membership contests, or join the local Chamber of Commerce, and have great mixers, etc. In other words, the Reminders in the bucket benefit the chapter.
